BREW-based applications generated $200 mln in revenues

Paul Jacobs, president of Qualcomm wireless and Internet Group, said developers have earned more than $200 mln from the sale of BREW-based applications. There are currently 37 commercial operators in 24 countries offering BREW-based applications. Jacobs predicted that data services will generate as much as 25% of wireless operators’ revenues by 2008.
