Semiconductor equipment sales up 39.6%
Worldwide sales of semiconductor chip making equipment rose 39.6% in October from 2003 levels but fell 19.2% compared with September 2004, according to Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International. October sales were at $2.9 bln. The YTY growth was the smallest in a year.
