46% of developers used C++ in fall of 2004

Evans Data has found that the percentage of developers using C++ has steadily declined over the last six years from 76% in the Spring 1998 to 46% in Autumn 2004. Forrester Research found that C/C++, VB or Java were used in production systems by 59, 61 and 66% of companies respectively.
