Outsourcing of the IT side of payroll is comprehensive in Denmark - almost 80% of the Danish workforce receives their wages through a service bureau, and the total HR management services market has a value of more than DKK 1.1 bln ($177.3 mln). IDC forecasts that the total market, including payroll and HR administration and consulting, will reach DKK 1.7 bln in 2009. Bureau services will decline a little, and the main increase will occur when HR and payroll processes have been fully outsourced.
