83% of notebooks sold in 2005 are made in Taiwan
Taiwan notebook makers will ship around 41.5 mln notebook computers in 2005, for an 83% world market share. The top Taiwan notebook maker are Quanta, Compal, Wistron, Inventec, Mitac, THT Research says.
