Asia-Pacific server revenues up 9% in Q1 2005

Vendors’ server revenue in Asia-Pacific region rose 9% from Q1 2004 to Q1 2005, to $1.4 bln. IBM led with 35% of the total, followed by Hewlett-Packard on 33%. Shipments were up 21%, to over 238,000 units, Gartner reports.
