Top Web annoyances: pop-ups, requiring extra software, dead links

Hostway sponsored TNS research regarding top annoyances that Web users face when visiting commercial Web sites. 93.1% were annoyed at pop-ups, 88.8% at the need to install additional software, 86% get annoyed by dead links, 83.1% don’t like to register with the site before viewing any useful content, 83% are upset with alow-loading pages, 82.4% don’t quite like the content that’s out of date, 84.4% hate confusing navigation and the need to click-through too much, 80.3% are exasperated with ineffective search tools.
