NPD Group says “Madden NFL 06″ was the top-selling game in August 2005. The version for PlayStation took #1 spot in the US for August 2005 sales, the XBox version was #2. “Football 06″ for Sony PS2 was #3, “Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike” for XBox was #4.
