52% of New Yorkers have ordered groceries online in 2004

In 2004 the number of New Yorkers who told the Zagat Survey that they had ordered groceries online rose to 52% from 16% in 2003, according to New York Times. On a grand scale, Internet shopping represents only 0.4% of the $570 billion grocery business.
