Venture investments in European companies down 5.8% in Q3 2005
European investors backed 20% fewer companies during Q3 2005 compared to Q3 2004. Venture capitalists put $931.3 mln into 224 deals, down 5.8% from $989.4 mln invested during Q3 2004, VentureOne and Ernst & Young told Red Herring magazine.
