2.96 mln Internet users in Venezuela
The Venezuelan telecoms market recorded 16.2% growth in subscribers during Q3 2005, according to BNamericas quoting the local BCV bank. The mobile subscriber base reached 10.5 mln, whilst fixed line subscribers reached 3.6 mln. Internet connections jumped 37% to reach 571,940, while the number of Internet users grew 45% to 2.96 mln.
