US cell phone retail shares: Wal-Mart - 32%, RadioShack - 28%, Best Buy- 12%
32% of handsets sold in the United States retail outlets between May and November 2005 were bought at Wal-Mart, 28% were purchased RadioShack accounted for 28%. Best Buy accounted for 12%, Target, 8%; and Circuit City, 7%. The retail stores of wireless service providers attracted 47% of mobile phone buyers, Telephia reported.
