440 mln mobile subscribers in China by 2006

Xinhua news agency says the number of mobile subscribers in China will reach 440 mln in 2006. The number of mobile phone users grew by 4.79 mln a month in Q1-Q3 2005, and China had a total of 383 mln cellular users by Oct 31, 2005.
