IE7 team is serious about squashing bugs

I’ve been working with Bruce Morgan and a number of other developers on the IE7 team to track down the crashing behavior I’ve somehow managed to conjure up when using FeedDemon. I will tell you this: in my experience (25+ years) testing software, I have never witnessed this amount of attention on a one-off bug. The recognition that just because I’m the only reporting this particular issues doesn’t mean it won’t rear its ugly head for others is most welcome. I am hugely impressed with the commitment to getting this release as right as possible.

Nick Bradbury (FeedDemon’s creator) is being included in all the chatter as well. Hopefully, between me playing the role of willing victim and the enthusiasm being shown by these developers, we’ll get to the root cause soon. Stay tuned for more details.
