PC World picks Office 2007 as number one innovative product
Not sure I agree with the number one on the list designation but I do agree with PC World that 2007 Microsoft Office system (small "s") is one of the most innovative products released (sort of) this year. The new Ribbon UI, live previews, theme and style galleries, Smart Art, image tools, and other features will make creating better-looking, more effective documents a lot easier for most people.
As I've said a number of times in this past year, the people who will dislike this version of Office most are power users accustomed to tweaking the UI to suit their personal work style.
