Vista on a MacBook? No dice.
Well, we tried. We did manage to get through the installation routine for Vista but got unrecoverable boot errors when we tried to fire it up. The installation, which took about 45 minutes, seemed to go just fine. For now, the short answer seems to be that you can install Vista but you cannot run it. We’re doing an XP SP2 install now and will try Vista again sometime in the future when a closer-to-official build is available.
