wholenewmind.jpgI just finished attending a very unusual WebEx webinar featuring author Dan Pink speaking about collaboration in the 21st century. It was a good overview of many of the topics he discusses in his most recent book, A Whole New Mind. What made the experience so powerful was that this was the first example, outside of a demo, that I have seen of the integration of MindManager and WebEx. Mindjet was the sponsor of the webinar and Pink, who is obviously quite facile with the software, used it in lieu of the more conventional (and generally dreadful) PowerPoint bullet list slide show so typical in webinars.

Mindjet has promised that a copy of the map he used, with the Q&A notes Pink built in real time at the end of the event, will be posted shortly. Well worth a look if you’re not familiar with his ideas about how we are moving from the Information Age ot the Conceptual Age. If you do not have MindManager installed on your PC, a free viewer can be downloaded from the Mindjet site.

Update: Eric Mack has a nice write-up of the webinar.
