One of my favorite companies, yourminis is here showing us how they're using Apollo to deploy widgets on the desktop. He takes us on a quck tour of the homepage and how to find widgets. If you've seen the site, you will have done all of this. He highlights the "flash stage" which shows what the widget looks like and allows you to customize it before you embed or download it.

The cool thing about yourminis is the true blend of the desktop and the web. He's showing off how you can copy a yourminis widget to the web for embedding, add it to a start page, or now, add it as a desktop widget using Apollo. With this deployment model, yourminis is showing off what a real widget platform looks like: web, desktop, blogs, ect.

By far the best demo of the day. If you get a chance to watch Alex speak, you should. He did a great job of showing how all of the pieces of the platform fit together and really make the experience better.
