Andrew Mager is a web developer at Ning, Inc. in Palo Alto. Previously, he was an associate technical producer at CBS Interactive Business. Before coming to work in San Francisco, he was studying print & electronic journalism at Virginia Tech. With the lack of quality student media in the hills of southwest Virginia, Andrew and his professor Roland Lazenby started Planet Blacksburg.

In 2006, Andrew interned at ESPN in Bristol, CT, working for the Sports Production team doing Javascript and SQL experiments. Prior to that, he worked at the WSLS-TV NBC 10 in Roanoke, VA, as a web intern. In his freshman year of college, Andrew worked at the local ESPN Radio station answering phone calls and writing scripts for the local afternoon talk show.
