BlackBerry co-CEO is buying the NHL Nashville Predators
NewsChannel 5 in Nashville, Tennessee reports that the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators are being sold to BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion’s co-CEO Jim Balsillie.
The deal, which will involve current Predator’s owner Craig Leipold, is now in the final paperwork stage.
An amateur hockey player to this day, Balsillie had previously attempted to buy the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins. That deal had fallen through last fall.
