On his Flickr photostream, Dan_H takes a most interesting photo of his rear view mirror with his new BlackBerry Curve 8300.

So where do I get off with that post headline?

Within the image, you can actually see Dan holding the BlackBerry Curve, in the act of taking the photo.  So in effect, he’s shooting himself

If you look carefully, you can also read that time-worn disclaimer, “objects in the rear view mirror may be closer than they appear.”

But is that really true? In my rear view mirror, objects seem further away than they are.
