Boy Genius refers to deep-background rumors about a BlackBerry 9000, said to be on the way sometime early next year.

This device will be 3G here in North America- 3G of the high-speed variety.

A 600MHz processor is also said to be on board, as well as a built-in Backup/Restore function to facilitate transferring your entire backup to an on board memory card.

We’ll keep you posted.
