Apple refreshes MacBook and MacBook Pro

As expected, Apple refreshed its MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops today. The exterior looks the same, which is sure to disappoint some given how long it has been since the last makeover. But inside Apple has done a lot of remodeling. Key changes include newer Intel Penryn processors; 2GB standard memory; larger hard drives; and, on the MacBook Pro, the Multi-Touch trackpad found on the MacBook Air and the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics with up 512MB memory. All new models are shipping today, and specs and pricing for the new configurations are here.
