Nikon USA issues D5000 service advisory
If you’re a Nikon D5000 owner, listen up immediately. Nikon has released a service advisory regarding this model’s power sources.
Symptoms of a potential problem include:
- The camera cannot be operated when the power switch is on, even with a fully-charged battery.
- The camera cannot be operated with the EH-5a AC Adapter connected through the EP-5 Power Connector and the power switch on.
Nikon will post potentially affected serial numbers on July 23. For more on the advisory, visit Nikon USA’s website.
