AgfaPhoto releasing three new OPTIMA digital cameras
European camera manufacturer AgfaPhoto announced the addition of three new pocket digital cameras. The new OPTIMA series point-and-shoots will be officially presented at IFA 2009 in Berlin next month. All three of the new models will come with the capability to shoot photos with resolution up to 1,920 by 1,080 pixels in 16:9 format and 28 preset functions including smile, face and blink recognition.
Here’s a quick run-down on each of the three cameras:
AgfaPhoto OPTIMA 1: 12-megapixel resolution, 5x optical wide-angle zoom with focal length of 28-140mm, 4x digital zoom, 2.7” TFT display with 230,000 pixels. Available in titanium color.
AgfaPhoto OPTIMA 102: 12-megapixel resolution, 3x optical and 5x digital zoom, 3” display, YouTube video format. and is the perfect camera for any vacation or special events. With a , any shot can be easily captured. A new quick delete function allows for more shooting time and less scrolling through menus. Available in in titanium, red, rose, silver, or black.
AgfaPhoto OPTIMA 100: 10-megapixel resolution, 3x optical and 5x digital zoom, digital image stabilization, 2.7 inch TFT display with 230,000 pixels. Available in titanium, red, rose, silver, or black.
It isn’t clear when (or if) they’ll be released in the United States, but they will be available for sale in Europe this September, with a price point between €129-€179 ($186-$258 USD).
