Make the best out of your photos while traveling
The San Francisco Chronicle’s Travel section posted an in-depth guide on basic travel photography. According to the article, Americans will shoot 27 billion photos this year, but “it’s also likely, however, that many of those photos (give or take a billion) will be bad.” True, but that isn’t to say something can’t be done.
I think the basic point to take away is that taking pictures on vacation isn’t simply pointing your camera at the Eiffel Tower and clicking a button. It’s all about the framing, lighting and real vision of the photo. Any photographer of any skill level can make their vacation photos better with a few helpful hints.
If you really pay attention, you could even make a quick buck or two by uploading your pictures to stock photography websites like iStockphoto or Alamy.
