It’s the end of the year, and it is a good idea to look at the 10 most popular posts of the year according to traffic. Before, let me wish you an excellent year 2008. Let’s first look at my ZDNet blog.

  1. Exclusive images of Endeavour’s damaged tiles (August 14, 2007)
  2. The impact of nuclear attacks on U.S. cities (March 24, 2007)
  3. Storing wind power in cold stores (February 10, 2007)
  4. A five-gear space rocket engine (February 23, 2007)
  5. Stackable smart robotic cars (December 29, 2005)
  6. New molecules for a faster Internet (January 4, 2007)
  7. Nanotechnology boosts solar cells performance (August 21, 2007)
  8. Turning cars into wireless network nodes (June 3, 2007)
  9. Ready for a virtual beer? (August 4, 2007)
  10. The physics of beer bubbles (August 5, 2007)

It’s interesting to note that in this Top 10 list, only one post has not been published in 2007. On the contrary, when I look at the traffic statistics on my personal blog, 3 of the Top 5 most-read posts were published before 2007.

  1. The most powerful microscope in the world (September 14, 2007)
  2. Eve, the virtual math teacher (November 22, 2007)
  3. The World’s Biggest Truck (June 21, 2004)
  4. Is Our Universe a Gigantic Hologram?(July 14, 2003)
  5. Are Wind-Assisted Ships in our Future? (March 7, 2005)

I guess it means something about the respective readers of the two blogs, but I don’t know what it really is.

Once again, I wish you an excellent year 2008.
