Dell Inspiron Zino HD aims for living room, Mac mini; starts $229
Dell on Thursday officially announced its new Inspiron Zino HD mini desktop PC, an inexpensive Windows-based machine that targets the living room and the Mac mini.
Much more than the Mac mini — which is Apple’s cheapest computer in its lineup — the Inspiron Zino HD is quite affordable, at $229.

Lenovo on Monday introduced its first ThinkCentre all-in-one desktop PC made for business, packing Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Windows 7 and a $499 price tag.

Maingear unleashes Shift desktop, child-sized 'personal supercomputer' for $2,199 (or $13,394)
Boutique computer maker Maingear on Monday unleashed its Shift desktop PC, a child-sized “everyday supercomputer” that marries extreme performance and upgradeability to industrial design for a barnburning rig that can handle the highest-definition media.
Or, as the company’s written in its marketing materials, “There’s a fine line between genius and insanity. We’ve just erased it.”

Lenovo reveals dazzling Windows 7 IdeaPad, IdeaCentre lineup
Lenovo on Monday officially unveiled its Windows 7-powered lineup of IdeaPad laptops and IdeaCentre desktops, and the company is clearly upping the ante in the visual department.
On the notebook front comes the ultraportable 11.6-inch IdeaPad U150, the 15.6-inch U550 and the performance-focused 15.6-inch IdeaPad Y550P.

The IdeaPad Y550P is the most powerful laptop in Lenovo’s consumer portfolio and is its first notebook to offer new Intel Core i7 processors. In addition to that comes NVIDIA discrete graphics, a 15.6-inch HD widescreen display, Dolby Home Theater surround sound, and a “SlideNav” touch-sensitive bar above the keyboard for quick tasks. It will be available soon for $1,149.
