The world's first 12-megapixel cameraphone is coming
Rumors are a swirlin’ that Samsung plans to begin mass production on the world’s first 12-megapixel cameraphone before the end of February, with the intention of releasing it in Europe first, reports UnwiredView.
Telecoms Korea reports that, according to another Korean publication, the cameraphone will be unveiled at MWC 2009, just two weeks from today.
As with all rumors, speculation is wild: Will it be touchscreen? Will it be a smartphone, or a standard phone with a mega-camera?
Previous rumors indicated that Samsung wants to produce an 8MP phone with 3x optical zoom. Will we also see that device at MWC 2009?
