First look: Google Analytics for iPhone

A favorite of site managers and IT pros alike, Google Analytics is a set of tools for monitoring a web site’s traffic and performance via the Web. Now, add Apple’s iPhone to that list, too.

Earlier this week, Michael D Jensen of Inblosam LLC released Analytics App, a $5.99 app that provides Google Analytics’ exhaustive feature set for your iPhone.

Once you login using your Google account, you are confronted with a list of all the sites you’re monitoring. Click any one and view almost 30 reports, including traffic, visitors, content — even events tracking and customized reports. Traffic reports include referring sites, search engines, keywords, AdWords campaigns, etc.

To boot, the app is speedy over Wi-Fi and EDGE, reports Dave Caolo at TUAW.
