Among a crop of 10 — count ‘em, ten — new point-and-shoot cameras from Canon comes the PowerShot D10, a model that’s waterproof to 33 ft., freeze-resistant down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and shockproof within 4ft.

Plus, it’s awfully noticeable, too:

More stats:

  • No specifics on LCD size, but in the 2.5-in. range, judging by pictures
  • Digic IV image processor for lower noise and sharper image quality
  • Face and blink detection
  • Active Display, so you can navigate photos with “the flick of a wrist”
  • Price: $330
  • Available in May
