Samsung announces two new portable media players
Samsung today introduced two portable media/MP3 players, the daily listener YP-Q2 PMP and the gym-friendly YP-U5.
Samsung YP-Q2
The YP-Q2 PMP comes in 8GB and 16GB versions (black or white) with 50 hours of battery life, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology, FM radio/recorder, a text viewer and a programmable Smart Button.
Samsung YP-U5
The YP-U5 media “stick” sports a touchpad, 1-inch OLED display, USB connectivity, up to 20 hours of playback, an FM radio module and 2GB of internal storage. It’s available in black, white, red, pink or blue.
Both players arrive in April for the following prices: $99.99 (8GB YP-Q2), $129.99 (16GB YP-Q2) and $39.99 (YP-U5).
