Skype Call Recorder: Record your conversations for free
There are many reasons for recording a phone call, but lets pretend you’re doing it for the sake of saving a heartfelt conversation with your granny, or saving an interview with a celebrity. You can download the free Skype Call Recorder to record your Skype calls for free.
It’s a very simple Windows utility that records both ends of your Skpe conversation. True, there are already a number of Skype recording apps, but most of them cost money to record longer conversations. Skype Call Recorder is free for all calls. What you pay in price — free — is indicative of what you get in features: very few. Lifehacker said it was the simplest option they’ve seen in terms of VoIP recording apps.
You basically can record calls in mono or stereo, and you can choose between bit rates of 32, 64, or 128, but all files are recorded as MP3s.
