If you’ve been a fan of games like LEGO Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, but always wanted your little LEGO men to be playing guitars, instead of holding Lifesabers, then you’re in luck. According to Kotaku.com, LEGO Rock Band is being developed by TT Games in a partnership with Harmonix and published by Warner Bros. Entertainment.

Earlier this month at the Game Developer’s Conference, Harmonix developer senior designer Dan Teasdale let a few things slip about the game, but the rumors are now confirmed.

The game is geared more towards teens and tweens, and will offer songs, such as Blur’s “Song 2,” Carl Douglas’ “Kung Fu Fighting,” and Europe’s “The Final Countdown.

The game will be available for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS, and is set to be released for the 2009 holiday season.
