BlackBerry Curve 8900 coming to AT&T this summer
AT&T announced today the early summer availability — rumored to be June, as in next month — of the (long awaited) BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone.
The Curve 8900 is notable for being the thinnest, full-QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone. It features a 480×360 display, 3.2 megapixel camera (auto focus, image stabilization) and a microSD/SDHC expandable memory card slot that supports up to 16GB per card.

Of course, if you buy an unlimited data plan with the 8900, you’ll get free AT&T Wi-Fi access at the company’s thousands of hotspots.
Thankfully, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is a world phone, which means you have data access in more than 170 countries and can make calls in more than 200. The smartphone supports quad-band EDGE (850/900/1700/ 1800Mhz) and Wi-Fi 802.11 b and g. The 8900 also comes with a removable, rechargeable battery that provides a talk time of 5.5 hours and approximately 15 days of standby time.
It’s also got on-board GPS with location-based applications and services, turn-by-turn directions, maps and all of that goodness.
