New Averatec 25.5-in. all-in-one offers PC, TV combo for $999
Averatec announced today its 25.5-in. D1200 all-in-one PC, the largest such all-in-one for under $1,000 available today.
The D1200, which retails for $999, plays video at true 1080p resolution and features a built-in hybrid digital/analog TV tuner. The system is intended to replace a smaller HDTV in the house by offering PC capabilities for $200 more than the average 25-in. HDTV, the company says.
Inside, the Averatec D1200 features a 2.5GHz Intel Pentium dual-core E5200 processor, 320GB hard drive, 4GB of memory, the 64-bit version of Microsoft Vista Home Premium and integrated wireless keyboard and mouse.
Playing up its multimedia abilities, the D1200 also has an 8x super-multi DVD optical drive, built-in 2.0-megapixel webcam, WLAN wireless 802.11n networking and wired gigabit 10/100/1000 Mb/s network connectivity.
The D1200 is available now for purchase at Best Buy.com, TigerDirect/CompUSA and Averatec.com, but at the time of this writing, only Averatec had the product available.
