Striking a balance between digital cameras of the 21st century and film cameras of the 20th, Samsung has introduced its WB1000 compact camera, a 12.2-megapixel shooter with an ultra-wide angle lens, 3-in. 480×260 AMOLED display and retro dials.

The WB1000, which comes in silver or black, carries a 24mm ultra-wide angle lens (F2.8-5.8) on the front and also features “Smart Auto,” HD-quality video capability (1280×720), dual image stabilization and 5x digital zoom. But the real scene-stealer are the camera’s retro dials:

According to retailer Crutchfield, which lists the camera as the “TL320,” it will be available June 18 for $379.99.
