Samsung today introduced its Omnia II smartphone, touting a 3.7-in. AMOLED resistive touchscreen, HSDPA/HSUPA and a 5-megapixel camera, in addition to two new OmniaPRO devices and an OmniaLITE offering.

In addition to the 480 by 800 resolution WVGA touchscreen, the new Omnia II (I8000) offers 30fps video recording (720 x 480; 480p), a microSD expansion slot to expand 2GB of internal storage to 16GB, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, AGPS and the company’s TouchWiz 2.0 interface on top of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The company also says it has “up to 48GB lets users store more of their favorite content,” but it’s unclear where.

Three more smartphones to round out the Omnia family, after the jump:

Meanwhile, the OmniaPRO B7610 features a hybrid touch/QWERTY form factor, push e-mail for multiple accounts, Microsoft Office Suite, Opera 9.5 browser, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also features a 5-megapixel camera, GPS and AMOLED display.

Sibling OmniaPRO model B7320 is positioned as a messaging monster, with QWERTY and corporate push e-mail support, along with Facebook and MySpace support, IM support (MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo Chat), a 3-megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS and Wi-Fi.

Finally, the OmniaLITE offers the TouchWiz 2.0 interface, multi-push email access, the Microsoft Office Suite, Opera Browser, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, multi-codec for video, 3-megapixel camera, and A-GPS.
