Samsung Jet 'fastest full touch handset'; has 800MHz CPU, 3.1 in. AMOLED
Not content to just release four new OMNIA handsets, Samsung also unveiled today its Jet smartphone, which it says is the fastest full-touch handset on the market today.
Why so fast? The Jet pairs an 800MHz application processor with a slick 3.1-in. 16M WVGA AMOLED display, which it says provides four times the resolution of a WQVGA screen.
In addition, the Jet has the company’s TouchWiz 2.0 user interface, which allows motion-response and customizable widgets. It comes with the Dolfin Web browser, a 5-megapixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect tech, and DivX and XviD video support.
For business users, the Jet also supports a multi-task manager and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. The Jet has a 2GB internal memory and can also support microSD cards up to 16GB.
