This delicious, frozen treat might be just what you’re looking for on a smoldering summer’s day — but, you can’t eat it, and you’ll have to wait to get your hands on it, too. Mint Hard, made by Korean design firm mintpass, is still a concept item, and an extremely clever one at that.

The name Mint Hard has two origins. First, the Korean word for ice cream bar is “Hard,” and second — and more obvious — the “hard” in hard drive. The design of the Mint Hard is genius. The bar’s handle is a USB flash drive, and the ice cream part is a hard drive. So, you can simply throw a couple files on to the handle, and then when you have time later, plug the handle into the bar. The files are automatically transferred.

The Mint Hard comes in different flavors, which represent different storage sizes. Check out the mintpass Web site for more information and to see other mintpass innovations.
