Hide your Rock Band evidence with the AK Rock Box ottoman
If you’re a Rock Band fan then you know that the whole kit — guitars, drums, etc., — can take up quite a lot of room, especially if you live in a tiny studio apartment. For those of you who don’t have a Rock Band Room designated only for Rock Band playing, but would still like to keep your living room free of plastic guitars and drum sets, we have a solution for you. On sale now at Amazon.com, the AK Rock Box Gaming and Storage Ottoman with Drum Lift will add a classy-looking piece of furniture to the room, while hiding any evidence that you spend most of your time playing video game versions of classic rock songs.
The AK Rock Box is a pretty hefty ottoman. It measures 38 inches long, by 22 inches wide, by 17 inches tall, and it weighs 61 pounds. The specially-designed AK Drum Lift raises and lowers your Rock Band or Rock Band 2 drum kit as you open the ottoman. In addition to holding the drums, it can store two gaming guitars, a foot pedal, and a microphone.
Although I haven’t tested it myself, reviewers on Amazon seem to be very happy with the AK Rock Box. It’s currently on sale from $299.99 to $175.98, which is not a bad price for a nice, leather ottoman.
