Logitech's new wireless presenters help you wrangle your next PowerPoint slides
In addition to new gaming accessories, Logitech has also introduced two new wireless presenters, its Professional Presenter R800 and Wireless Presenter R400.
Both of the contoured, plug-and-play presenters include laser pointing, wireless convenience and slideshow controls that can be found by touch.
The Logitech Professional Presenter R800 (pictured at top) offers an easy-to-set timer that’s displayed on the device’s roughly one-inch LCD. It features silent, vibrating alerts that activate when you have five, two and zero minutes left to present (after you’ve exceeded your limit, the timer reverses and counts how much time you’ve overrun).
The device works at a range of up to 100 feet (30 meters) and has a reception-level indicator on the LCD to keep you from wandering too far. Its laser pointer is green.
Meanwhile, the Logitech Wireless Presenter R400 (pictured, above) is designed for smaller settings. It has a red laser pointer and a battery power indicator. It’s effective at a range of up to 50 feet (15 meters).
The Professional Presenter R800 will be available in the U.S. and Europe in August for $99.99. The Wireless Presenter R400 will be available in the U.S. and Europe in September for $49.99.
