Although it doesn’t capture video in 1080p, 720p is still darn good for high-resolution quality. The Vado HD comes with 8 GB of built in memory, which allows you to store about two hours of high-definition video. You can also capture SD video with this camcorder. It has an HDMI output, as well as an output for standard composite cables. It has a flip-out USB connector, which allows you to directly upload your videos to YouTube. It also comes with a silicone case that protects the camera.
The Vado HD can be compared to the Flip Mino HD camcorder, which sells for $188.77 at Amazon. Although the quality of the Vado HD’s video may not be as good as the Flip Mino’s, it has a larger display than the Mino HD. It also comes with a removable Lithium ion battery, so you can carry a backup with you, unlike with the Mino HD.
