Quickfire Deal: Asus Eee PC 900 Netbook
With so many deals popping up every day, I miss a good one, from time to time, that gets left out of my daily deals post. Today’s deal at Woot is the Asus EEEPC900A-WFBB01 netbook with 1.6GHz Atom processor, for $169.99.
The netbook has a list price of $229.99. But, before you jump on this deal, there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, the Asus Eee PC 900 is an outdated model. It is cheap, but you only get 4 GB of disk space. So, if you’re looking for an inexpensive laptop that will be your one and only computer, this may not be the deal for you. It is, however, good for Web browsing and basic tasks.
The Asus Eee PC 900 has a Lithium Ion battery that provides up to four hours of use. It comes with Linux, has a 8.9-inch LCD screen, and weighs 0.99 kilograms. As mentioned above, it has a 4GB built-in solid state disk, which makes the internal drive stay quiet, draw less power, boot up faster, and resist physical shock.
Let us know what you think of the deal? Did you snatch it up, or are you waiting for Woot to offer a newer model?
