For those of us who are widescreen monitor-averse, never fear: the standard-aspect ratio is still alive and kicking.

NEC on Wednesday introduced the 19-inch MultiSync EA109M, intended for business, government and education users.

Despite only a 1,280 by 1,024-pixel resolution, the display offers 250 nits of brightness, a 900:1 contrast ratio, five millisecond response time and 4-way ergonomic stand.

It’s about as lively as a navy sack suit in Washington, D.C.

The display will retail for $259.
