Walmart recalls 4.2 million Durabrand DVD players
You get what you pay for (don’t you?).
Walmart has expanded a 1.5 million unit recall to 4.2 million for Durabrand DVD players it sold quite inexpensively ($20 to $30) in the U.S. and the U.K. due to 12 reported cases of overheating.
The original recall only covered silver units, and now includes pink and purple models sold between January 2006 and July 2009 at Walmart stores in the U.S. and Walmart-owned ASDA stores in the U.K.
