Samsung has debuted its new X Series family, a trio of 11- to 15-inch systems less than an inch thick.

Engadget reports that the 14-inch X420, 14.6-inch X520 and 11.6-inch X120 all have a “scratch-resistant UV coating” and supposedly have dual-core, ultra-low voltage Intel processors.

Expect Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a card reader and an HDMI port, along with a 9-hour, 6-cell battery (the X120 has a 4-cell).

Prices will be between 699 and 899 Euro (or approx. $1,000 to $1,300 USD). The systems are expected to ship this month in Europe and Asia.
