Sony supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month with pink products
October is here, and so is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Almost everybody knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer, and Sony is showing its support by donating $110,000 in conjunction with sales made in October from the Reader Pocket Edition bundle in rose, and the pink VAIO W Series Mini Notebook bundle.
The money will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which uses more than 85 cents of each dollar directly towards breast cancer research, and awareness programs.
The Sony Reader is available now for pre-order, and will be available around October 7 for $199.99. The VAIO VPC-W111XX/PC is available now for $499.99.
