An RCA sport media player, a Dell desktop computer, and a Sony digital picture frame. Here are your daily deals for Monday, October 5, straight from the Gadget Gal:

1. Get the RCA S2001 Jet 1GB Rechargeable Sport Media Player from Woot.com today for only $7.99. The  player has an FM Tuner with 20 presets. You can record radio to MP3 format, which later you can listen to or download to your computer for personal use. It also has a BMI calculator, a stopwatch. It has 1GB of flash memory and can store up to 340 songs. The S2001 comes with an armband, a wristband and sport clip earphones. It has a list price of $79, but Amazon sells it for about $26. Even with the $5 shipping at Woot, this is the best deal you’ll find on the S2001 Jet.

2. Dell is starting its Eight Days of Deals promotion, and today is day one. One of today’s deals is the Inspiron 537s desktop computer. It has a list price of $644, but you can get it for $499 from now until October 7 at 6 a.m. CT. The 537s features include: Intel Pentium dual-core E5400 (2MB L2, 2.7GHz, 800FSB), and a 500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) wit DataBurst Cache. It comes with an 18.5-inch HD monitor.

3. Get the Sony DPF-D70 Digital Photo Frame at Amazon.com today for $69.99, down from $99.99. The 7-inch photo frame is easy to use with its two-step procedure: shoot a photo and save to a memory card, and then insert the card into the frame. It has 256MB of internal memory with optional image resizing to maximize internal memory.
