We heard the news earlier this week about Kindle’s new international edition, but rumors of a Kindle DX with global capabilities is still unconfirmed. The rumors are flying though, so we thought you should know what’s going on.

The Kindle DX was launched back in May and offers 2.5 times the amount of screen than the normal Kindle. It also has a much higher price at $489, versus the $259 for the smaller Kindle.

According to ITProPortal.com, Ben Howes, a spokesperson for Amazon, told another blog that the larger version of the Kindle 2 would come in 2010. And, according to Engadget, that information was confirmed to by PR spokesperson Drew Herdener.

Sorry to skimp on the details, but there just aren’t many to be found. We’ll let you know when more surface.
